フランスでは最古（1962年〜）のパーカッショングループ「Percussions de Strasbourg」はフランス・ストラスブールを活動の拠点とし、世界各地でコンサートやワークショップ、教育活動をされています。これまでに70ヶ国にわたり1,700回以上公演を行い、350もの楽曲献呈をされ、30枚ものアルバムを発表するなど輝かしい功績を残されています。その「Percussions de Strasbourg」が2018年11月2日、ドイツ・ケルンでのコンサートにて凜（RIN）を使用した楽曲「雨の樹」を披露しました。「雨の樹」は日本が誇る現代音楽の作曲家、「武満徹」の打楽器のための作品で、一般的にはマリンバとアンティークシンバルで演奏されていますが、今回そのアンティークシンバルの変わりに凜（RIN）を使用して頂きました。凜の音色が「雨の樹」の中で響き渡る様子を御覧ください。また弊社とPercussions de Strasbourgはパートナーシップ契約を締結しております。

Founded in 1962 in Strasbourg, Les Percussions de Strasbourg is one of the oldest percussion ensembles in the world. Since its foundation, members of the ensemble have changed but its avant-garde, experimental, and exploring spirit remains the same. Until now, they are invited to more than 1700 concerts in 70 countries; 350 original compositions have been dedicated; and 30 albums have been released. In addition to the concerts, they contribute to educational programs, organizing workshops and events for educational purposes. This ensemble performed “Rain Tree” (1981), a masterpiece for the percussionists composed by Toru Takemitsu, with RIN at the WDR hall in Cologne in November 2018. In the original score, Takemitsu directed to use crotales, or antique cymbals, together with marimba. Les Percussions de Strasbourg, however, interpreted this score carefully and decided to use the RIN, giving respect to Takemitsu’s avant-gardism.
